‘King Of Romance’ Shah Rukh Khan was born in Delhi to Lateef Fatima in 1965, who was Magistrate by profession and father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan who had chain of restaurants in Delhi. SRK wanted to be an actor from a very initial stage of his career and entered in theatres during his college days. Khan read Economics in Hansraj College, but used to spend much of his time at Delhi’s Theatre Action Group (TAG). Shah Rukh claimed to have learnt acting from his mentor Barry John from the same theatre group.He also mentioned at the Anupam Kher’s show that he used to accompany many theatre artists at National School of Drama where his father was a canteen in-charge. He started his career with television serial Fauji in 1989 then he bagged a role in Aziz Mirza’s television series ‘Circus’. Eventually, he stepped into Bollywood with the movie ‘Deewana’ in 1992.
