Militants on Wednesday made an abortive bid to target a CRPF camp in Anantnag district, about 52 kms from here, by hurling a grenade which exploded by the roadside without causing any damage.
Militants hurled the grenade at 7.00 pm at the CRPF camp at Mominabad in Anantnag town, a police official said.
He said the grenade missed the intended target and landed on the roadside.
There was no damage done in the explosion of the grenade, he added.
