Google Trends Will Show Real Time Data | News World India

Tech giant Google is known for innovations and tweaks, the continous re-invention of old products, not only makes it an over all market leader but also keeps the user’s on their toe’s with anticipation.

The latest tweak comes in google trends, the tech giant has now added real-time data tracking to it’s trend service, which will allow user’s to explore minute by minute data of over 100 billion of google’s monthly searches.

The service collects information from not just google but also Youtube, an combines both the searches.

The google trend home page has also been updated, the page according to google has now become “Story-centric”.

In an official blogspot the company said ““To help you understand the data behind the headlines, our News Lab team examines trending topics every day and finds interesting nuggets of data that bring news stories to life. You can follow us on Twitter to stay up to date. And for data journalists who want to do their own analysis, starting today we’ll publish data sets on specific topics to our Github page,”.

The new homepage will be available in 28 countries, with Google planning to add more locations in the coming months.
