Born as Ranveer Singh Bhavnani, soon after entering the film industry he shortened his name. Many of his characteristics is as similar as the 90s superstar Govinda, however at the same time he is very different too.

Ranveer entered in the industry with ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ in 2010 and  on his 31st birthday, we are taking you to a trip of his 6 years of career.

Band Baaja Baraat was the debut film of Ranveer. Playing a role of typical Delhi-guy wouldn’t be difficult for him.

With the second release ‘Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl’, Ranveer started climbing what one would call the pathway to versatility. He had different avatars in the movie, from chirpy, entertaining side to a sinister side, Ranveer played every part to perfection.

Then came Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’, Ranveer’s portrayal of the emotionally conflicted Varun showed his another look, which was different from other films.

After Lootera with Sonakshi, comes ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ which became the talking point of the town. And along with the superhit film, what came in was Ranveer’s swag which helped in to win audiences’ hearts.

And soon after the release, Ranveer Singh was in news for his unique and ‘bindas’ style, energy and well, just himself.

He was all over the news, but then ‘Gunday’ and ‘Kill Dil’ happened to him. Anyways, moving to Ranveer Singh-Arjun Kapoor’s “Roast”, things turned controversial. However, he managed to continue to rule over our hearts.

Then came ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, he did his job as smoothly as it could be. Whether it was a caring brother or loving boyfriend, he was amazing. He speaks through his eyes, especially in comic scenes. His comic timing is impeccable, and this needs no reiteration.

With Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, he proved that he can play any role. A guy next door or Peshwa, Ranveer can do it. His upcoming Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’ is with Vaani Kapoor, let’s see what he is upto now. But whatever it is, he is going to nail it.

A great actor, dancer, rapper, the guy next door, goofy, crazy, funny, quirky – Ranveer Singh is all this and much more. As he turns 31 today, we wish him a very happy birthday and a great year ahead.
