Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s was on Thursday attacked near Dumaria in Gaya district in Bihar.
The incident happened while he was returning after meeting Sudesh Paswan’s family.
A jeep that was accompanying Mr Majhi’s car was set on fire.
A Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader and his brother were shot dead on Wednesday by Maoists during campaigning for panchayat polls in Bihar’s Gaya district.
LJP leader Sudesh Paswan and his brother Sunil Paswan were killed in broad daylight near Tola Dubat in Gaya, about 100 km.
