Here’s a good news for the fans of Harry Potter. Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first photos from the prequel film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The movie takes place in New York 70 years before we meet Harry and his friends.
The photos feature Redmayne and co-stars Katherine Waterston (Porpentina ‘Tina’ Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) and Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski). The prequel is based on the Hogwarts textbook of the same name and follows the adventures of its author.
Directed by David Yates, who helmed the last four movies, the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts is written by J K Rowling herself. The movie is scheduled to release on November 18, 2016.
If rumours have to be believed , the film features an American wizarding school similar to Hogwarts, and will also visit the Magical Congress of the United States of America. Here’re the pictures:
