FIR Registered Against Zee Group Chairman Subhash Chandra And His Son | News World India

A case has been registered against 3 persons including Zee Group chairman Subhash Chandra, Managing Director Punit Goenka and a woman (who was allegedly sexually assaulted) for grafting false charges.

Tamnar Police, Raigarh has filed a case against the three under the sections 463, 465, 471, 193, 182/211 and 120B of Indian Penal Court (IPC).

Earlier, the woman has alleged that Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) officer, DK Bhargava has sexually assaulted her.

A court has ordered to register the case when the reports of allegedly sexual assault was proved wrong.

“The woman has filed a writ petition to register a FIR in Chattisgarh High Court, and the court has told her to file a complaint to Raigarh Supretendent of Police (SP), but the woman kept delaying the procedure. Meanwhile, Zee group kept telecasting the news till Delhi High Court on March 5, 2015 ordered to stop airing this news and ordered the police to probe. But, the probe highlighted that the allegations made by the woman were baseless,” Focus News report.
