Tata Motors’ much-awaited hatchback Tiago, which was earlier named ZIka, will be launched on April 6, 2016.
The bookings for Tiago have commenced at showrooms across the country.
The official twitter page of Tata Tiago mentioned that the car is going to hit Indian roads on April 6.
The bookings for Tiago have commenced at showrooms across the country for an amount of Rs 10,000 and deliveries are expected to commence soon after the launch.
Tata will position the new Tiago below Tata Bolt in the company’s passenger car line-up.
As Zika virus became an international emergency, the company announced that it will rename the new hatchback.
The car was expected to be launched in January, but was delayed due to the renaming process.
