'Everybody Loves Raymond' Returns To India | News World India

Popular American sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond” is all set to entertain the Indian audiences once again.

While the show’s Indian adaptation “Sumit Sambhal Lega” is garnering appreciation for its humour and storyline, English channel Romedy NOW is bringing back the original series and will air nine back-to-back seasons of the show starting Thursday, read a statement.

“Everybody Loves Raymond”, which stars actor Ray Romano in the lead, revolves around Ray Barone, a successful sportswriter living in New York, with his wife Debra (Patricia Heaton) and three children.

Their big happy family gets a bit too big — and less happy — when Barone’s parents, Frank (Peter Boyle) and Marie (Doris Roberts), frequently stop by, since they live directly across the street.
