Emraan Hashmi's ‘Azhar’ Leaves Ravi Shastri Fuming | NWI

After Sangeeta Bijlani and Manoj Prabhakar, actor Emraan Hashmi‘s latest release “Azhar” has now left former India captain Ravi Shastri fuming.

According the reports, Shastri seems to be unhappy with the way he has been portrayed in the movie.

In the Tony D’Souza-directed movie, Ravi’s character is shown as a womanizer. Moreover, Ravi’s character even shown cheating on his wife during a foreign tour.

TV star Gautam Gulati has portrayed the character Ravi Shastri in the film.

Though filmmakers didn’t use the full names of the cricketers shown in the film but featured the characters having first names as, Ravi, Navjot, Manoj and Kapil.

If the reports are to be believed, then Shastri has apparently expressed his concerns to the cricket authorities.

“Azhar”, based on the life of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, hit the big screens on May 13.
