DU Admissions 2015: Entrance For Mass Communication To be Held On June 21 | NWI

Every year more than 18,000 students apply for Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication in Delhi University. This year too, five out of six colleges that offer Bachelors in Journalism will be taking admissions through cut-offs. The cut-off is scheduled to be announced from June 25 onwards.

Indraprastha College for Women, which offers Bachelors in Multi Media and Mass Communication, will conduct entrance test for admissions.

The entrance test will be two-tiered: objective and descriptive on June 21 and June 25 respectively. The first level of exam is based on multiple choice and students clearing the first level will be eligible for the second level that is English Comprehension, Creative and Analytical Skills.

The result of the first test will be declared on June 22 followed by final results on June 29. The admissions will begin from July 1 to July 3.

Other colleges offering Bachelors in Journalism are Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kamla Nehru College, Maharaja Agrasen College and Kalindi College. Three of the five colleges are women’s college.

The cut-off for admissions in these colleges will be released from June 25 onwards. Last year the cut off was sky high, ranging from 95%-99% and most of the seats got filled in the first list itself.
