The fate of the elusive leader of the world’s dreaded terror group, Islamic State (ISIS) remains a mystery even after his convoy was targeted by Iraqi Air forces in Anbar area of Iraq on Sunday.

“Air forces bombed the convoy of the terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi while he was heading to Karabla to attend a meeting with Daesh (an Arabic name for Isis) commanders,” Iraqi government said in an official statement.

However there is no official confirmation on Baghdadi’s death.

However section of foreign media, quoting hospital sources report that that the ISIS chief was among the causalities but he was not dead.

This is not the first time Baghdadi death has been reported in media, earlier, in May this year similar reports surface bout his death in a US led air strike. However weeks after Baghdadi released an audio message urging Muslims to intensify attacks against west.
