Earlier on Friday, Swati had alleged that she and her minor daughter were being threatened and harassed by BSP activists and said she would lodge an FIR against party chief Mayawati for the ‘mental trauma’ her family was being subjected to.
“We will now demand the arrest of BSP leaders who had crossed all limits in abusing and degrading women members of the family”, Dayashankar’s family said.

“They (BSP) have lodged an FIR against my husband for what he has said. But now they have gone beyond every limit and openly demanding that my daughter and myself should be produced before them”, said Swati Singh.
Dayashankar Singh is facing criticism for making derogatory remarks against BSP chief Mayawati and her supporters have been making vicious attacks against him ever since.

“I will lodge an FIR against Mayawati ji over the mental trauma faced by my family. He has been removed from all party posts, he has even been sacked from the party, but Mayawati is still not satisfied. If she puts her mind to it, she could even get him beheaded,” Swati Singh said.
Singh’s wife alleged that BSP activists were openly asking people to call her and were abusing her 12-year-old daughter.

“BSP activists are summoning me and my daughter, they are abusing her. My daughter is traumatised, is this not condemnable? Should she not sack her party members for abusing us?” Singh’s wife said.
She asked if Mayawati would take responsibility if anything happened to her or her minor daughter.
On Friday, Tetra Devi, Dayashankar’s mother, met the Hazratganj Police and submitted the complaint that she, her daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were abused by BSP men who allegedly raised derogatory slogans during the protest.
“There was an attempt to instigate violence and riot during the protest by highlighting differences on caste lines”, she alleged in the complaint, adding that slogans at the protest amounted to outraging the modesty of a woman.
She also alleged that there appears to be a conspiracy to eliminate her son.
Singh’s family demanded that the BSP leaders be booked under more stringent provisions as they had allegedly abused a minor with their choice of words.
