Indian spinner Amit Mishra on Tuesday was charged with verbally and physically assaulting a woman in a hotel in Bengaluru.
In a complaint registered with the Ashok Nagar police on 27th September, the woman has alleged that she was in Mishra’s room on 25th September when he walked in.
According to reports, an FIR has been filed against Mishra and the Bengaluru police has summoned the spinner and ordered him to appear before the investigating officer within seven days.
The report also states, the alleged victim knows Mishra for the last 3 years and had gone to meet him.
