With an ongoing spat between the host of Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK) and Colors TV CEO Raj Nayak, the channel gave a cold shoulder to the popular comedy show. The show, which airs at 10.30 pm slot, did not broadcast on Sunday after ‘Sansui Colors Stardust Awards 2016′. Miffed twitterati pulled up the ‘deliberate’ ignorance.

Moreover, Nayak didn’t mention stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma while congratulating other shows including — Sasural Simar Ka, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Thapki Pyaar Ki, Balika Vadhu, Udaan, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Comedy Nights Bachao — at the award night for their tedious efforts.

It’s easy to smell a rat after this suspicious ignorance of the show by Colors authorities. Following which loyal Kapil fans outraged on Twitter and demanded their favourite host back.

Speculations are rife that Krushna Abhishek will be hosting the show as Kapil would soon quit with his team. Omitting Kapil, the show would be titled ‘Comedy Nights’.
