It was a cloudy Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average, as rains bring respite for denizens the previous day, the weather office said.
“The sky will remain partly cloudy and rain/thundershower is likely to occur in some parts of Delhi and NCR region,” said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to the weather office, rains brought a respite in Delhi by bringing the temperature down.
Delhi recorded a rainfall of 10.2 mm between 8.30 a.m. on Monday and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, said the official.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 percent, he said.
Monday’s maximum temperature settled at 40.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average while minimum temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average.
