After months of allegations and counter allegations over the agenda of talks, National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan on Monday held deliberation in Bangkok and discussed many issues including terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir and hostilities along the Line of Control.
According to Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, the meeting between Ajit Doval and General Janjua was held in peaceful and cordial atmosphere, with both sides agreeing to carry forward the constructive engagement in future.

“Discussions covered peace and security, terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir, and others including tranquility over the Line of Control,” the statement said, adding that the talks were held in a “candid, cordial and constructive atmosphere.” read a joint statement issued after meeting.
The meeting comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counter part Nawaz Sharif met in Paris on the sidelines of climate summit.
Soon after the meeting both officials issued a joint statement mentioning the agenda.

Earlier this year, NSA-level talks between India and Pakistan were called off after the two sides could not agree on the agenda of the meeting. India had blamed Pakistan for cancelling meeting by calling Hurriyat leaders to Delhi, while Pakistan said that India’s pre-conditions were responsible for the cancellation of talks.
