Personal assistants of BJP MPs were given power presentation on role of Joseph Goebbels as a Nazi regime propagandist.
If reports are to be believed, the personal assistants of BJP parliamentarians were recently given a power presentation on the role of Joseph Goebbels as a propagandist of the Nazi regime. The presentation was reportedly made by Parliament Secretary Balasubrahmanyam Kamarsu during a two-day workshop for the officials.
The programme was aimed at how to promote different policies and welfare schemes of the government.
Goebbels, one of the closest associates of German dictator Adolf Hitler, is said to have excellent oratory skills. He was elevated by Hitler to be his propaganda minister. During his tenure, the ministry gained almost absolute control over media in Germany.
From the beginning of his tenure as Hitler’s propaganda minister, Goebbels is said to have organised stern actions against German Jews.
Interestingly, several opposition leaders, such as Congress’s Digvijaya Singh, have often referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘Hitler’. In April, the Congress general secretary had even tweeted a picture of Hitler’s radio address, equating it with the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio series of PM Modi.
