‘Modi Paani’ is attracting eyeballs at Surat railway station.

Amid the rising heat of Bihar elections, railway passengers are being distributed ‘Modi Paani’ during their journey to the poll bound state. The unique way of campaigning was actually invented by the BJP workers in Surat to woo Bihar voters.

To target to potential voters, the BJP workers are distributing the packaged drinking water in all the trains running from or via Surat to Patna and other districts of the poll bound state. The free drinking water has PM Narendra Modi’s picture and BJP’s election symbol ‘Lotus’ printed on its wrapper.

There is also a two-line message printed along with the symbol: “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.”

In the festive season and right before the first phase polls in Bihar, this is certainly a unique way to approach the travellers going to the poll-bound districts of the state.
