Teni Yadav, a cousin of Rocky Yadav who is the prime accused in the Gaya Bihar road case, surrendered before the Gaya court on Monday morning. He has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
He was reportedly present with Rocky when the incident took place.
He fled from the spot after Rocky shot the 20-year-old Aditya Sachdeva on the night of May 7 for overtaking his SUV.
Rocky is the son of suspended legislator Manorama Devi.
Meanwhile, in a major setback for Janta Dal United (JDU) MLC Manorama Devi, Gaya court on Monday deferred the hearing on her anticipatory bail plea.
