Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Is A Registered Bengaluru Voter! | News World India

In a major goof-up by the Election Commission of India, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a registered voter in Bengaluru and can vote in upcoming civil polls.

According to the reports, some people have found Hasina’s voter card with her name, picture and all personal details. The card mentions Hasina as the resident of Bengaluru’s Thanisandra area. Except her birth year, all other details are mentioned correctly in the card.

Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson S Prakash has posted a picture of Sheikh Hasina’s ‘Voter Identity Card’ on his Facebook page.

According to Prakash, this is one among the lakhs of fake ID cards doing rounds in Karnataka, the other being, Virginia Lo Yao, a fugitive wanted in Australia and carries a cash reward of $50,000.

Meanwhile accepting the Election Commission’s faux pas, Karnataka Home Minister KJ George said, “I don’t think this is an authentic ID card. I will order a probe into the matter.”
