Actress Pratyusha Banerjee, best known for as ‘Anandi’ in popular television series ‘Balika Vadhu’, has committed suicide, Mumbai Police said.
According to the initial reports, the actress hung herself to death.
She was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital where she breathed her last, hospital authorities informed.
Police officials said that cause of death is not clear yet.
Pratyusha, 24, started her career with ‘Balika Vadhu’. She was also a contestant on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5′ and was one of ‘Bigg Boss 7′ participants.
