Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) President Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley addressed the media on Monday clarifying the confusion looming around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degrees.

While announcing that the party was putting PM’s BA and MA degrees (Bachelor of Arts from DU & MA from Gujarat university) in public domain, Shah accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of turning a ‘blatant lie into truth’ and creating confusion ‘among public by saying PM’s degrees are fake.’

“Arvind Kejriwal tried to turn a blatant lie into truth and create confusion among public by saying PM’s degrees are fake,” he said.

Accusing Kejriwal of lowering down the standards of public life, Shah said that, “Arvind Kejriwal ji has not only lowered down the standards of public life but has also defamed the nation across the world.”

He said that the Delhi CM must apologize to entire nation and must clarify on what grounds he levelled such serious allegations.

Speaking on the occasion, Jaitley said that attacking someone without checking the facts is a very lowly thing to do.
