Arunachal Pradesh Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa Must Resign, Demands Kapil Sibal | NWI

Reacting to the Supreme Court decision on restoration of ousted Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki in the state, Congress veteran leader Kapil Sibal on Wednesday demanded resignation of the Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa.

“Arunachal Pradesh Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa must resign, this is our demand,” he said in a series of statements to the media today.

Terming the day as the one that will be “written in golden words in the history of India”, Sibal said that, “Supreme Court’s decision will result in Nabam Tuki being the CM in Arunachal Pradesh.”

The veteran leader also demanded apology from the Central ministers saying, “Centre ministers who were involved in this decision, they must clarify and apologise.”
