Anurag Thakur Undermines Social Media, Twitter Reacts With #ShameOnAnuragThakur | News World India

BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur said India should recommence playing cricket with Pakistan in order to improve the relations with the country.

Twitteratis slam BCCI secretary and BJP MP Anurag Thakur for calling to resume bilateral series between India and Pakistan and not to “go only by social media” trends. Following the interview published by a newsportal, a hashtag #ShameOnAnuragThakur has started trending on the twitter.

There has already been a very strong opposition by many people against the cricket series between both the nation, on social media. And soon after the latest statement of the BJP MP, the micro-blogging site witnessed the fury of the twitteratis on Friday.

Anurag Thakur actually called for resumption of cricket ties with the neighbour country.

A hashtag, #NoCricketWithPakistan had already trended last week staging a strong protest against the idea of cricket series between India-Pakistan and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reject the official request for the series.

The BJP MP had also said that the social media comments and trends do not entirely reflect mood of the nation.

Here are few tweets of the furious twitteratis:

It is said that Anurag Thakur visits his constituency just like tourists come to hill station for vacations! 🤗 #ShameOnAnuragThakur
