“Ramdev has claimed that his ‘desi Maggi’ which will be available in his Patanjali stores will have lesser flour and zero lead.”
Over the controversy surrounding Maggi, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has said that he would launch a ‘desi’ brand of Maggi for children.
Many states have banned the popular 2-minute noodle, Maggi, manufactured by Nestle over excessive use of lead and Monosodium glutamate(MSG) in it.
Targeting Maggi, “Ramdev has claimed that his ‘desi Maggi’ which will be available in his Patanjali stores will have lesser flour and zero lead.”
Moreover, he has also demanded an apology from Nestle for putting lives of people in danger.
However, he has denied the news floating on social networking sites that Patanjali is already producing Maggi. According to him, the picture of Maggi packet, which has gone viral, is the morphed packet of ‘namkeen’.
