The ‘Jazbaa’ actor was presented with the Power Packed Performer Award for her impressive comeback in Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa from Rekha. And while receiving the award, Aishwarya said, “It’s great to receive it from maa.”

Aishwarya’s referring Rekha as ‘maa’ in front of the audience attending Sansui Stardust Awards was not only shocking for the audience there, but also stunned the viewers watching the show. To this Rekha replied, “I hope I can give it to you for many more years.”

Recently at Star Screen Awards, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha were seen hugging and greeting each other warmly.
Rekha was said to be dating Amitabh and this was the reason Jaya, Rekha and Amitabh were never seen sharing the screen space after the 1981 film Silsila.
