Air India Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Lucknow After Windshield Crack | News World India

An Air India plane on Tuesday made an emergency landing at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow after the windshield of the aircraft got damaged.

According to reports, at least 169 people were onboard the Air India flight, the windshield of which got damaged.

Airport Director S C Hota said that AI-873 Airbus 321 was on its way to Bhubaneshwar when the pilot noticed a crack in the windshield on the rear side of the nose.

The pilot came in contact with the air traffic control at Lucknow at 11.54 AM when it was near Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh and sought permission for landing at the airport here, Hota said.

The aircraft landed safely at the airport at 12.37 PM.
