Mohammad Nazim who plays the character of Ahem Modi in the popular show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ that is aired on star plus has quit the show.
According to reports, the reason behind Nazim’s decision is the time leap slated to take place in the show soon.
TOI reports, Sources say “he has already played a father for long and is not willing to turn grandfather at this stage of his career.”
Nazim confirms, “The character has made me what I am today. But I have decided to quit the show because I am not comfortable playing grandfather to actors just a few years younger than me.”
The show has been one of the highest TRP garners for the channel.
Reports suggest, the female lead of the show Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays Ahem Modi’s wife Gopi is also expected to leave the show soon.
