After Tej Pratap’s Goof-Up, Lalu Points Out Modi’s ‘Mistake’, Asks Him To Take Oath Again | News World India

After the goof-up by his son Tej Pratap during his swearing-in ceremony, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has dug-up a similar situation from the past involving PM Narendra Modi and asked him to take oath of office again.

Lalu Yadav took to Twitter to highlight the incident, saying that the PM committed a mistake while taking oath on 26 May 2014. He posted a video clip of the ceremony posted on YouTube by the official twitter handle of ‘PMO India’.

Lalu tweeted that while taking oath, Modi misread the word ‘Akshunna’ (Intact) as ‘Akshnna’ (which has no meaning in hindi). The RJD chief’s tweets comes after his younger son Tej Pratap was asked to retake oath after he fumbled during his swearing-in ceremony as Bihar’s Cabinet Minister.

In another tweet, Lalu alleged that, “They (BJP) want to divide the country because Narendra Modi did not take the correct oath to keep the country ‘akshunna’ (intact) with integrity and ascendancy”. Hence, he said that Modi’s oath is meaningless.
