Abhishek Bachchan Essays The Role Of A Singer In 'All Is Well' | News World India

Abhishek Bachchan seemed to be following daddy Amitabh Bachchan’s footsteps.  Junior Bachchan will essay the role of a singer in his upcoming flick, ‘All Is Well’.

Abhishek’s character in the film is apparently modelled on Big B’s role in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1973 blockbuster ‘Abhimaan’, which also stars his mother Jaya Bachchan.

After ‘Abhimaan’, Amitabh was last seen as an on-screen singer in ‘Yaarana’.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, ‘All Is Well’ is a family drama featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak in lead roles. The film revolves around a thorny issue with a social message similar to Shukla’s previous venture OMG – Oh My God!.

The shooting of the film is over and it is under post production. ‘All Is Well’ is scheduled to hit the silver screens on 21 August this year.
