A senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was found brutally murdered in outer Delhi’s Begumpur on Monday morning. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Dhirender, the AAP’s Purvanchal Wing district president. Dhirender’s body was found with its head severed and private parts cut off.
Expressing his grief over the death, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that he would be visiting the aggrieved family.

A senior police officer said they are yet to make any breakthrough in the case. They are questioning his family and friends in a bid to obtain any clues about the identity of the killers. A murder case in this connection has been registered.
