The online campaign www.savetheinternet.in has been set up where a user can send a mail directly to TRAI pledging your support to net neutrality and express their discomfort on the issue.

Demanding net neutrality, AAP MLA, Adarsh Shastri said, “It is extremely important. Content and the medium to reach to the content should be independent” he said.

He added that if net neutrality is not implemented, then new start-up companies will be stuck as they will have no way to afford.

Meanwhile various online campaigns have gathered momentum on social media websites which stand against telecom operators charging extra money from users and companies to open apps faster and slowing down the speed for those who don’t pay.

Netizens have been demanding net neutrality so that all sites are equally accessible, at the same speed, and if there is a cost of access, it should be the same for all.

It makes me laugh to imagine getting robbed by a Zoozoo. #netneutrality
