Gauri Khan turns 45 on October 8, here’s a look at her career and life journey from the very beginning.
Born in a Punjabi family, Gauri Khan was called by the name ‘Gauri Chibber’.
She did her schooling in Loreto Convent for 10 years and later graduated in history from Lady Shriram College.
Gauri fell in love with Shah Rukh in 1984. Even after facing intense family pressure to leave SRK, she married him on October 25, 1991.
She was blessed with a son Aryan, who was born on November 13, 1997; daughter Suhana who was born on May 23, 2000.
Super mom Gauri Khan tried the concept of surrogacy and gave Mr. Khan the third son AbRam who was born on May 27, 2013.
Co-owner of Red Chillies Entertainment Gauri Khan produced her first film Main Hoon Na in 2004. Her latest production under Red Chillies was Happy New Year (2014)
The first lady launched her own line of furniture in partnership with Roshan’s home store in Mumbai – The Charcoal Project in 2012. She later started an interior store in Mumbai named Design Cell.
