President Pranab Mukherjee will present the 62nd National Film Awards at Vigyan Bhawan here on May 3.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore will attend the award ceremony, the information and broadcasting ministry said on Wednesday.
Since 2012, the prestigious National Film Awards ceremony is held every May 3 to commemorate the release date of the first Indian movie “Raja Harishchandra”, a silent project by Dadasaheb Phalke.
