According to a report in a national daily, farmers in Uttarakhand have come up with an amazing idea to scare wild boars. They have installed loudspeakers that play the latest songs of Honey Singh and other Punjabi singers at full volume and the music scares boars along with other wild animals.

Bishan Jantwal, a farmer at Dhari village told Times of India, “I used to hear from elders in the house that wild animals avoid places where there is a human habitat. I thought of playing music to let them know of human presence. And it has worked.”

Also, other villages have used the formula and it’s been seen that even bhajans are working. Earlier, forest officials had suggested to play recorded voices of wild animals but it didn’t work and farmers faced huge losses.
