You all have seen the supposed NASA image showing Diwali lights in India- well that one is a fake. But, we do have an image showing the view of a beautifully lit up sky from the outer space on Diwali. An astronaut astounded by the view captured the picture of south India celebrating Diwali and posted it on his Twitter account.

American Astronaut Scott Kelly who is in the outer space for a year saw a spectacular scene unleash in the ground beneath. He probably didn’t know about Diwali but he couldn’t resist not sharing the spectacle on his twitter account.

It was on 233 day he shared the Picture of what- south of India looked like from outer space on Diwali and said ‘Day233. Once Upon a Star over southern India. Good night from Space station’ .

Scott Kelly would be back to earth by spring next year. He also shared the picture of Paris from space after the gory terror attack and expressed his Shock stating ‘Shocked and saddened by terrorist attacks on Paris standing with France from space station. Our thoughts with you’.
