Haryana RS Polls Row: Anand Submits Call Records Of Chandra & Returning Officer As Proof | NWI

Chief election officer on Saturday took up the plea filed by the Congress backed candidate RK Anand demanding strict action against BJP-backed winning independent candidate Subhash Chandra for alleged irregularities in the Haryana Rajya Sabha Polls held on June 11.

After the hearing, RK Anand while talking exclusively to News World India said, “Today we have submitted call records of Subhash Chandra and returning officer Virender Mohan as an evidence to the commission.”

“Both Subhash Chandra and the returning officer were in contact before the elections. They talked to one another several times over phone,” alleges RK Anand.

Following the disqualification of 14 votes, on the ground that they were inked using the wrong pen, BJP-backed independent candidate Subhash Chandra was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Haryana.
