The green-eyed girl of the ‘Kapoor’ clan Karisma Kapoor turns a year older on Thursday.
Born on June 25, 1974 to yesteryear actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Karishma ruled the Bollywood for more than a decade. Girls in the 90s use to idolise Karisma as she was a diva in true sense.

At the tender age of seventeen Lolo ( Karisma’s nick name) made her acting debut with ‘Prem Qaidi’ in the year 1991.
It is said that Karisma had to face a lot of problems convincing her family to make a career in Bollywood.
Breaking the stereotype, she became the first woman of the Kapoor khandaan to sizzle onscreen
Karisma received the esteemed National Award in the year 1998, for Best supporting actress in ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’.
Karisma showed her magnificent acting prowess in ‘Zubeidaa’ and ‘Fiza’. For both the movies, she bagged the ‘Best actress’ trophies at the prestigious Film fare awards.
