Six special buses put in place by Delhi government to ferry lawmakers to parliament on Monday found no takers, as only two BJP MPs Ranjan Bhatt and Hari Om Singh Rathore availed the service to reach the temple of democracy.
Delhi Transport minister Gopal Rai on Monday announced 6 special DTC buses for MPs in the wake of Parliament session beginning today, he even appealed the lawmakers to follow the odd-even rule.

“I have appealed to all MPs to follow the odd-even rule.In order to facilitate the lawmakers, we have decided to run six ‘MP Special’ buses to ferry them to Parliament,” Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai told PTI.
Rai said he also talked to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan over the telephone and sought details from her on the MPs attending Parliament.
Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) officials said they will operate six low-floor air-conditioned buses for MPs but they will have to buy a ticket.
