In Forbes India ratings, Salman figures as the top ranking celebrities in India showing his earnings as 244.5 cr Indian rupees followed by the Bollywood’s Shahanshah Amitabh Bachchan whose earnings have been mentioned as 196.75 crores.

The ‘Dabangg’ actor currently endorses more than 10 national and international brands and there is about Rs 250 crore riding on ‘brand Salman’ which includes his two upcoming flicks ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’.

His two major box office hits in 2014– ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Kick’, have been the sole reason for his economic surge.

But, according to reports, the biggest money making work is reality show ‘Bigg Boss 8′ which has paid around 5-6 crores per episode to the Bollywood superstar.

Apart from being mired with controversies because of his girlfriends or the cases like black-buck hunting and 2002 hit-and-run, this top-notch actor has a humane side also. In 2007 Salman started ‘Being Human’ foundation to help the poor and people in need.
