Sri Sairam Engineering College has been in news for a long time now. It all started with their dress code fiasco, and now the college is in news for allegedly torturing students. A group of former students have spoken about the horrors they faced behind the gates of the college in a video, which has gone viral on the internet.
A few months back, there was a controversy over dress codes in colleges of Chennai. The controversy started after the alleged circular by Sri Sairam Engineering College went viral, wherein it mentioned about the non-wearable clothes by female students.
Alumni of the college uploaded the video on YouTube last week, where they have mentioned about the college officials beating them. The video is titled “Sri Sairam Engineering College Alumni Confessions On Balu’s Human Rights Violation” and students from different batch are featured in the video.
