Though the shooting of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage started in January, Deepika joined the unit in February. In an interview to NDTV earlier, on her Hollywood debut, Deepika said “I am moving out of my comfort zone, working with some very new people in a new set up.”
She further added: “I want to keep challenging myself and this was the time to explore something more now.”
The film also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson, Ruby Rose, Jet Li and Tony Jaa, is the third instalment in the xXx franchise.
