Micromax YU Fit Band Launched In India | News World India

Micromax is not very late to launch the wearable Yu Fit Band in India as the Xiaomi has already strengthened the market of wearable device in the country.

With aim to target Xiaomi Mi Band, Micromax launched YU Fit wearable device along with new smartphone YU Yuhporia in the Indian market on Tuesday.

In the latest event, the company launched smartphone Yuphoria along with other services, especially in the personal health wellness category, intended to bring meaningful technology experiences for its consumers, a company statement said here.

Along with Yuphoria, the brand also announced its foray into the connected devices segment with the launch of HealthYu and YuFit.

Micromax’s Yu brand was launched last year.

Yuphoria will be available exclusively through amazon.in at Rs.6,999. Registrations for the device begins from May 12, 2015 from 5 pm and the sale starts May 28, 2015.

YuFit is a specially designed fitness companion that works exclusively with HealthyfiMe, integrating accessories and app to track the food records of the users and help them stay fit.

“The launch of the compelling connected smart health accessories are aimed at encouraging the users to make a sustainable shift toward a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle,” the statement said.

“We are proud to say that with Yuphoria, we are breaking the flagship myth and introducing our first smartphone that has been designed and assembled in India. HealthYu and YuFit is a step towards our vision of introducing a connected devices ecosystem. These intelligent devices will really matter in the category,” said Yu founder Rahul Sharma.
