'Master Of Quiz' Neil O'Brien Passes Away In Kolkata | NWI

Neil O’Brien, Indian quiz pioneer and former Indian Certificate of Secondary Education chief, on Friday passed away at their home in Kolkata after prolonged illness.

His son and TMC leader Derek O’Brien broke the news on Twitter.

Neil O’Brien was the former Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) chief. He was admitted to a Kolkata hospital last week.

Neil is a distinguished member of the Anglo Indian community in India.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee mourned the death of Neil O’Brien on Twitter, saying:
