The rescue team pulled out a dog, named ‘Romeo’ from the rubble nearly 10 days after the devastating Italy earthquake.
Earlier on August 24, an earthquake that measured 6.2 on the Richter scale hit some 100 km north-east of Rome. Hundreds died and several others were injured as the quake levelled the area.
The golden retriever, who had been trapped under the rubble for 10 days, was pulled out alive by firefighters in Amatrice. Romeo was found to be in good health and ran around ecstatically after being rescued.
