Balochistan is the hub of CPEC connecting China’s Xinjiang province with Pakistan.
While interacting with the media, World Sindhi Congress Chairman Lakhu Luhana said “We won’t accept the CPEC project at any cost.”
ANI quoted Baloch leader Noordin Mengal saying “Want to tell Pakistan and China that they can do nothing in Balochistan without the consent of Baloch people.”
Accussing Pakistan and China of creating troubles, Mengal said ” Jo cheez cheen sakte ho wo cheeno, yahi in dono(China & Pakistan) ki koshish rehti hai.”
Earlier reports claims that Chinese scholars are “deeply disturbed” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent reference to Balochistan as within nine days of the prime minister’s Independence Day speech, Baloch freedom fighters staged a rally, raising the Indian tri-colour in Balochistan in support of PM Modi.
Earlier, in an interview given to an Indian newspaper through E-mail, Brahumdagh Bugti, founder-leader of Baloch Republican party said that he expected India to play the same role in Baluchistan as it did in erstwhile East Pakistan.
