It seems as though Hillary Clinton will never be able to move past her email blunder of using a public email server for professional purposes as Secretary of State, putting at risk classified and sensitive information, but she does have defenders, including current US President Barack Obama.
“I do think that there is a norm that, you know, when there are investigations, we don’t operate on innuendo. We don’t operate on incomplete information. We don’t operate on leaks. We operate based on concrete decisions that are made,” media reported Obama as saying.
“Setting aside the particulars of this case. I know that she is somebody who has always looked out for the interest of America and the American people first,” Obama said in an interview.
As the gap between Clinton and Trump narrows down, even the slightest information may be enough to tip the scales, and the recently reopened FBI investigation against Clinton has provided Trump a golden opportunity to distract public attention from his controversial sexual misconduct allegations.
