Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday appointed 22 parliamentarians to highlight ‘plight of Kashmiris’ in the world.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday appointed 22 parliamentarians to highlight ‘plight of Kashmiris’ in the world.

According to reports, the Pak PM today chose 22 MPs as special envoys to raise Kashmir issue during the United Nation General Assembly session in September.

The reports further suggest that the special envoys would visit different countries wherein they would highlight the sufferings of the Kashmiris during their meetings with world leaders.

Earlier this month, in yet another bid to highlight the Kashmir issue, the Pak PM vowed to provide medical help to those injured in violence there and called on the international community to ask India to provide access for treatment of victims.
