SHIPAA Malaysian marine oil tanker, Vier Harmoni, carrying about 9,00,000 litres of diesel has been hijacked and taken to Indonesian waters, say officials.

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA)’s director tweeted that the ship was now believed to be off the Indonesian island of Batam.

The identity of the hijackers is not yet known.
